Beginner-Friendly Full Body Workout at Home
A beginner workout should be simple enough to repeat and flexible enough to fit your current fitness level. This full-body routine uses controlled bodyweight movements and can be adapted to a small space.
Warm up first
Begin with five minutes of comfortable movement, such as marching in place, shoulder circles and gentle mobility. The goal is to feel prepared, not exhausted.
The routine
Complete one or two comfortable rounds of chair squats, wall push-ups, glute bridges, supported reverse lunges and a short plank variation. Rest between movements and prioritise steady form.
Make it your own
Use a chair for support, reduce repetitions or take longer rests when needed. As the routine becomes easier, add a small amount of time or one additional repetition rather than changing everything at once.
Stop if you experience sharp pain, dizziness or unusual symptoms, and seek qualified advice when appropriate.
